Support emailhello@pitchcall.app

For app issues, general feedback, accessibility questions, or feature requests, email Pitchcall Support. To help us investigate, include:

  • Your iPhone or iPad model and iOS or iPadOS version
  • Your Pitchcall app version
  • The feature you were using and the exact message you saw
  • Whether the issue involves a subscription, watch, firmware update, Bluetooth, or radar

Please do not email your team passphrase, Apple Account password, full payment-card information, or other sensitive credentials. Pitchcall never needs them to provide support.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Start with the quick fix.

These steps cover the most common account and connection issues. If they do not resolve the problem, contact us with the details listed above.

I’m setting up my first watches

Start with the getting-started guide. It explains which watches to choose, how to use our installer, and how to send your first practice call.

My active subscription is not recognized

Open Pitchcall’s subscription screen and choose Restore Purchases. Confirm the device uses the same Apple Account that purchased Pitchcall Pro, then reopen the app. If access is still missing, contact us.

I need to change or cancel my subscription

Apple manages App Store subscriptions and billing. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. You can also visit Apple’s Subscriptions and Billing support.

I have a billing or refund question

Apple processes subscription charges and refund requests. Review the purchase under your Apple Account or start a request at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can help with access or app behavior, but cannot view full payment details or issue App Store refunds.

A watch is not receiving calls

Start with the calling and update recovery guide below. First distinguish a missing phone-to-relay connection from a player watch that cannot receive from the relay. Never send your team passphrase in a support email.

Bluetooth Radar is not connecting

In Pitchcall, open Settings → Connections & Devices → Bluetooth Radar and begin listening. Then connect and start a new session in the Bluetooth Radar companion app. Pitchcall listens for compatible notifications and does not take over the radar connection.

How do I update compatible watch firmware?

Open Settings → Connections & Devices → Watch Firmware. Charge the watches, keep the phone and target nearby, and update before practice rather than between pitches. The relay updates last. A transfer awaiting version verification is not yet a confirmed update; refresh inventory and check each watch’s version before calling.

CALLING AND UPDATE RECOVERY

Find the link that needs attention.

Before using the system, charge every watch, keep one relay beside the phone, and send a test call from the positions players will use. Confirm the pitch and location on every display. A connected relay alone does not prove every player received the call.

The phone cannot connect to the relay

Turn on Bluetooth and allow Pitchcall in iPhone Settings. Confirm the same team passphrase is saved on the phone and relay. Turn RELAY ON on just one watch and keep it beside the phone. Leave Relay off on player watches. Open Pitchcall Settings → Connections & Devices → Watch Firmware and check the relay link. If it remains disconnected, restart the relay, reopen Pitchcall, and wait for reconnection. A team mismatch needs matching passphrases, not repeated sends.

The relay connects but no player receives

Check that the relay itself displays the practice call, then bring one receiving watch beside it. Confirm the receiving watch has power, the same passphrase, Relay off, and the same radio frequency as the relay. A 2.4 GHz relay can only reach 2.4 GHz watches; a 915 MHz relay can only reach 915 MHz watches. You cannot mix 2.4 GHz and 915 MHz watches, even with the same passphrase. See the supported watch list; Ultra 915 MHz support is coming soon. Check the firmware inventory for incompatible versions. If either watch reports a radio problem, restart it once and contact support if the error returns. Do not rely on calls until the displays agree.

Only some watches receive calls

Refresh the fleet inventory and compare the discovered watches with the ones you expect to use. Check the missing watch’s charge, passphrase, radio model, and firmware. Test it beside the relay, then at its field position. Keep it out of the active calling setup until it receives the same practice call as the others.

A watch shows the wrong location or custom letters

Check the selected pitcher profile and pitch grid on the phone. Update the relay and all receiving watches to the firmware version required by your app, then send a new test call. New app releases can require a coordinated fleet update; a watch merely being connected does not establish compatibility. If the required signed release is not yet offered, contact support before using that app build with the fleet.

A call was queued, expired, or replaced

Wait for the relay connection and readiness check. Verify the pitch and location you want now, then send a new call. Do not assume a queued call reached the field or repeat taps while waiting. Calls accepted while reconnecting count toward the free allowance; transport retries do not consume another call.

A firmware update was interrupted

Keep the watch powered on near the phone. Stop the update and allow the watch to leave update mode; reconnect and refresh firmware inventory. If the relay does not return, power it off and on, then check its Relay setting. Retry only watches that still need the release. If a transfer completed but its version is unverified, refresh inventory before treating it as updated.

For USB recovery on a 2.4 GHz or 915 MHz T-Watch S3, use the current browser installer. Both S3 radio variants use the same Pitchcall firmware. Ultra firmware is still in development. It checks the storage layout and writes around saved settings. Do not flash an older merged factory file at address zero or choose a whole-chip erase: those methods can remove your passphrase and settings. If the installer rejects the storage layout, contact support instead of forcing it.

The watch screen is dark

Charge the watch and use the crown to wake it. If a legacy firmware brightness setting left it invisible, contact support for a compatible brightness-recovery release. Reinstalling the same old firmware may not resolve it. Use the current browser installer when applying a recovery release so settings are preserved; do not erase the watch to recover brightness.

What should I include in a support request?

Include the app/iOS version, exact watch model, relay and affected-watch firmware versions, number of expected/discovered watches, exact status or error, whether a nearby test works, and the step that failed. If useful, include a photo of the watch’s status or the app readiness screen. Do not include a passphrase, Apple password, payment details, or an unredacted private practice export.
