DEVICE SETUP

Set up a new
Pitchcall watch.

Give your watch its Pitchcall software, then add your team’s private passphrase. Use Chrome or Edge on a computer and a USB data cable. Choose the watch model below so the installer uses the matching software. Install the current firmware here first. Future updates in the updated iPhone app automatically match your watch model.

Before you plug in: choose T-Watch S3 or T-Watch Ultra below. Each model has its own firmware. Check the model on your order or packaging; the USB connection identifies the ESP32-S3 chip, not the watch model. Check your watch model.

2.4 GHz and 915 MHz watches cannot work together. Both firmware builds detect the radio automatically, but your relay and every player watch must use the same radio frequency.

Connect your watch

Turn the watch on, connect a USB data cable, then choose its USB port when your browser asks.

Use Chrome or Edge. The installer connects and restarts the watch over USB. Keep the data cable connected.

Match the model selector to the watch connected by USB. The firmware detects 915 MHz or 2.4 GHz radios automatically.

Install Pitchcall

Install the verified Pitchcall software and keep the cable connected until it finishes.

Set your team passphrase

This lets watches on your team recognize one another. Already installed? Start here—skip steps 1 and 2.

Saved only in this browser to make setup of other watches easier. It is never added to the release, URL, analytics, or connection log.

WHEN BOTH BOXES MATCH

This will not change anything until you select the watch’s USB port.

After setup: use the same passphrase in the iPhone app. Turn RELAY ON on just one watch and keep that watch near the phone. Leave Relay off on your players’ watches.

Having trouble connecting?

Make sure the cable carries data and that the watch is powered on before selecting its USB port. If no port appears, use a known-good data cable, turn the watch off and on with the crown, then choose Connect watch again. After installation, long-press the crown to turn the watch off and start it again.

This installer checks the watch’s storage layout, skips its saved settings, and reads back each written region to verify it. Reinstalling with this page preserves the team passphrase, relay role, grid, and appearance on a compatible Pitchcall watch. If the storage layout is unfamiliar, installation stops before writing; contact support instead of erasing the watch. After any update, check the relay role and send a practice call.
